High Energy Rate Metal Inert Gas Atomisation
Developed in response to the rising demand for research-scale quantities of gas-atomised reactive metals like Titanium and Nickel, the HERMIGA 75/2 CC features a 0.5-liter Cold Crucible. This allows for the production of sufficient reactive metal powders to support downstream processes such as Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM) and Metal Injection Molding (MIM).

The HERMIGA 75/5 Vi EAC utilises our unique close-coupled supersonic die technology to produce fine spherical powders down to 10 microns median with rapid solidification rates in the region of 10-5 to 10-6 Ksec-1.

Its compact design makes it suitable for laboratory installations, and it is designed for easy cleaning to minimise cross-contamination between batches. The unit includes a data logging system to capture all key parameters for later analysis, with a variety of options available to enhance its functionality.
